We started with birthday pancakes for breakfast, including sprinkles and candles. We then headed downtown to the Museum of Discovery for some fun creative play for the morning! On the way, Mickey Mouse called Landen with a special message and even a song! He LOVED hearing from him!

The Museum of Discovery was fun, Landen loved all the great hands-on activities.
After lots of play, it was time for lunch! On a day like his birthday, there is only one place to take this little train fanatic - All Aboard! He was beyond excited to have a choo choo train bring him his lunch. His reaction was precious. I wish I could bottle this up, or keep him this age forever. So much fun!
After lunch it was home for a much needed late nap and deliveries for his party the next day! Our family from Texas arrived that evening and spent some special time with the birthday boy before he was off to bed. They were also a HUGE help in setting up tables, chairs, and everything else in the chaos of party preparations the rest of the evening. We were so blessed to have them here!
I posted on our Facebook page about our little man turning 3 and the blessing he has been to us. We could not be more proud of him and who is as a little person. Isn't it funny how much you learn from someone you are supposed to be teaching through life?
Today we are celebrating 3 years of absolute bliss with the most precious, perfect little boy. He has been a ray of sunshine in so many needed times and we are so proud of the sweet, loving, smart, patient little boy he has grown to be already. We are so proud and even more blessed to be his parents. We love you to the moon and back Landen Harper! Happy 3rd birthday!!!
